As a board certified music therapist trained in using music and rhythm to improve learning outcomes. Kathy presents nationally on teaching phonological awareness to build a foundation for literacy and has provided access to training videos for you to implement this resource with your struggling learners.
With this “Sound It Out” kit, you will receive multiple resources to help your youngest learners on the path to literacy. Instruments are used for sound matching and left to right directionality when children aren’t quite ready for using letter sounds. Magnets and the dry erase board can be used for Elkonin Sound Boxes to make learning CVC words fun and easy. The kit includes a digital resource guide that gives you access to seven songs, high quality images of the instruments, and a YouTube video teaching you how to implement this resource.
